Methodologies of Non-Photorealistic Rendering

This project has achieved a fundamental methodology as a goal hence we made a decision to finalize the project as of July 2015, and the corresponding chair continues the research and will make the result public for academia. Moreover, KSS also continues to have the discussions on this topic as before. Please contact the corresponding moderator, Kosaku Nagasaka if you have a question on the project.

"Methodologies of Non-Photorealistic Rendering" is one of the projects of "KSS Projects for Communication", which is started since 2015, following Studio Phones Fellowship Program.

Purpose and Contents

The purpose of this project is to explore new Non-Photorealistic Rendering methods through intensive discussions across the research fields of Mathematics and Computer Graphics. We hope this collaboration will indicate a promising direction for future research.
